Path selection for ecological restoration in mines under the background of carbon neutrality goals
In the context of dual carbon dioxide targets, the share of fossil fuels will gradually decrease, while the share of low-carbon energy will gradually increase.High energy consuming and high emission mining companies are facing pressure. Therefore, many mines are about to close, and there is a long way to go for mine renovation and ecological improvement. However, traditional mining environment restoration mainly focuses on terrain reconstruction, soil restoration, vegetation restoration, and landscape restoration, with insufficient emphasis on energy conservation and emission reduction goals, and even excessive human intervention increasing energy consumption and carbon emissions. Therefore, carbon neutrality targets pose new requirements for the ecological restoration of mines. In the new situation,it is necessary to rethink the connotation and expansion of mining ecological restoration,as well as the ways to achieve the goals.
