Analysis of geological characteristics and prospecting criteria of Yinziya lead-zinc deposit in Xihe County,Gansu Province
The Yinziya lead-zinc deposit belongs to the Xicheng lead-zinc ore field and is the western extension of the Qinling iron lead zinc(copper)polymetallic mineralization belt. The ore belt has a large distribution area, stable occurrence layers, and features both terrestrial sedimentary deposits and hydrothermal deposits. The ore body is mainly controlled by stratum, structure, lithofacies and lithology.Lead zinc deposits are mainly hosted in the Huangjiagou Formation of the Western Han Water Group of the Middle Devonian. The main ore body is controlled by the detachment space of limestone(brittle)and phyllite(plastic)in the Yinziya to Dengjiashan anticline structure,as well as the reverse fault of the inverted wing, and is hosted in the transitional zone of lithofacies and carbonate rocks. The ore body is located in the lithofacies transition zone between clastic rock and carbonate rock and on the side of carbonate rock.Quartz vein, calcite vein and iron mineralization, galena mineralization, zinc blende mineralization and sericite, chloritization, silicification, kaolinization and other alterations are important prospecting indicators in nearly EW trending fault structures.
