Exploration of Geological Characteristics and Genesis of Kuokjilega Gold Mine
The Kuokjilga Gold Mine is located in the hinterland of the western Kunlun Mountains and the Sarekuole Mountains of the Pamirs.According to the 1:50000 regional work results of the Shaanxi Geological Survey Institute in 2010,the stratigraphic division of the work area belongs to the Xizang Sanjiang Stratigraphic Region Qiangtang Stratigraphic Region Karakorum Stratigraphic Subregion Tashkurgan Tianshui Haiti Subregion. The exposed Silurian strata in the area are constructed by turbidite sedimentation, which is closely related to orogenic gold deposits. The Kuokjilega gold deposit is a fractured altered rock type or fractured altered rock type gold deposit related to ductile shear zones. The ore body is found in the fractured green gray hard green mud(limonite, siderite)sericite phyllite of the Wenwengou group in the Lower Silurian. After recent years of geological work, breakthroughs have been made in deep ore exploration, and multiple blind ore bodies have been discovered with relatively high grades. It is believed that the ore body has good prospecting potential.
