Application and Research of Airborne LiDAR Technology in Mine Surveying
Efficient surveying and mapping results are an important basis for mineral resource development.Traditional aerial photogrammetry is limited by geographical conditions and operational environments, and its accuracy cannot meet regulatory requirements, making it unable to meet the needs of mining reserve calculation, planning and construction. The airborne LiDAR surveying technology is characterized by high resolution, high precision, and high efficiency, which has the advantages of fast and accurate real-time observation data collection, unaffected by weather, and all-weather operation. It has been widely used in mineral exploration. Therefore, this article will focus on the research and design of LiDAR mapping systems.Starting from the principle of laser scanning, the basic components and performance requirements of LiDAR will be introduced in detail. The construction method of 3D point cloud models based on LiDAR will be analyzed.Based on the needs and actual situation of mining surveying and mapping, combined with the functional characteristics of existing equipment,a plan for constructing 3D images of mining areas and producing surveying results based on LiDAR will be proposed, providing high-precision basic data for future mining exploration.
