Research Status and Development Trends of New Electromagnetic Metallurgy Technologies
Against the backdrop of the electromagnetic metallurgy industry gradually moving towards efficient,continuous,and short process development,the development of electromagnetic metallurgy has shown two major trends.Firstly,based on a deep understanding of the coupling mechanisms of multiple fields such as electromagnetic fields,flow fields,and temperature fields,as well as the development needs of the metallurgical industry,traditional electromagnetic metallurgy technology is gradually moving towards automation and intelligence.Secondly,a number of new electromagnetic metallurgical technologies have emerged,such as electromagnetic induction steelmaking technology for continuous casting ladles,electromagnetic eddy current technology,electromagnetic control current technology,etc.The application scope of electromagnetic metallurgy technology is gradually expanding,from the initial electromagnetic stirring to the electromagnetic casting of aluminum alloys,and has expanded to various stages of electromagnetic metallurgy production,as well as non-ferrous metal smelting,casting,non-metallic materials and new material preparation.
