Research on Corrosion Characteristics of Absorber Heat Exchange Tube in a Lithium Bromide Absorption Chiller
This article uses a hanging sample test to simulate the corrosion of B30 heat transfer tubes under the conditions of 45%and 61%lithium bromide solution concentration in the absorber and generator of lithium bromide absorption chillers, with oxygen content of 0.5%,1%,5%,10%,20%,and 30%,respectively.The aerobic corrosion characteristics of B30 heat transfer tubes are studied, and the factors and mechanisms affecting the corrosion of lithium bromide solution concentration and oxygen content are analyzed. The results show that when the concentration of lithium bromide solution is 45%,As long as the oxygen content is higher than 5%,B30 heat transfer tubes will exhibit pitting corrosion. If the oxygen concentration is higher than 20%,B30 heat transfer tubes will have obvious pitting corrosion, with a depth of 0.5mm;When the concentration of lithium bromide solution in the unit is 61%,only when the oxygen content is 30%,will the B30 heat transfer tube show obvious corrosion pits.
