Analysis of geochemistry characteristics and prospecting potential of stream sediments in Longchuan area,Guangxi
In order to study the geochemical characteristics of water system sediments and mineral prospecting potential in Longchuan area of Guangxi,we conducted a 1∶50,000 geochemical measurements of water system sediments in the area.By statistically analyzing the analysis results of 2111 samples of water system sediments and comprehensively studying the characteristic parameters of elemental geochemistry, the geochemical distribution characteristics of the average content of elements and the characteristics of elemental anomalies,11 comprehensive anomalies of the water system sediments were identified.Based on the comprehensive anomaly definition and interpretation of the water system sediments, combined with the distribution of minerals in the region, the geological background of the mineralization and the regional metallogenic patterns,4 prospecting areas for micro-fine grained gold ores have been delineated. We have analyzed the prospecting potential of the prospect areas, and preliminarily established a comprehensive geological-chemical exploration method for the micro-fine grained gold mines in the study area.
