Analysis of metallogenic conditions of Xiahu ion-absorbing type rare earths deposit in Ganxian,Jiangxi Province
The Xiahu heavy rare earth ore is located in Ganxian District,Jiangxi Province, and belongs to the ion adsorption type rare earth ore.Research has shown that its ore-forming parent rock is mainly biotite monzogranite in the Dabu composite granite body.According to its composition, structure, and structural characteristics,it can be further divided into early medium grained porphyry, middle medium fine grained few spotted, and late fine grained biotite monzogranite.Element geochemical analysis shows that the biotite monzogranite belongs to an acidic granite with high silicon, rich alkali, poor calcium magnesium, and strong supersaturation of silicon.During its evolution from early to late, its basic components gradually decrease and the content of rare earth elements increases, providing an important material source for the formation of the Xiahu heavy rare earth deposit. The study on the structural characteristics of weathered crust and the vertical variation characteristics of ore bodies indicates that the ore bodies mainly occur in the fully weathered layer of the weathered crust of the early Yanshan coarse grained black cloud monzogranite, presenting a"silk ribbon"shape vertically.
