Research progress of electromagnetic method in non-ferrous metal mineral exploration
Electromagnetic exploration refers to the process in which relevant personnel infer the spatial distribution characteristics of underground blockage rate based on the observed electromagnetic field response, combined with the geological type of the area,in order to improve the exploration of non-ferrous metals. At present, the types of electromagnetic technology can be divided into time domain electromagnetic method and frequency domain electromagnetic method according to the composition of the received signal, both of which can survey depths up to tens of kilometers. The article briefly describes the technical categories and exploration theories of electromagnetic methods, introduces the application of electromagnetic methods in the exploration of non-ferrous metal minerals, and looks forward to the future prospects of electromagnetic methods, providing reference and guidance for subsequent research work.
