Experimental Study on Dry Grinding Characteristics of Zinc Roast Sand and Optimization of Dry Grinding Process Indicators
Zinc calcination grinding is a necessary link in the current mainstream zinc hydrometallurgy.Good grinding indicators can provide favorable conditions for the efficient extraction of zinc and co associated valuable metals in the future.Dry grinding of zinc calcination is widely used in practical production.A dry grinding study of zinc calcine was conducted to address the issues of low grinding efficiency and substandard grinding product fineness in a non-ferrous smelting company in Hunan. The effects of grinding parameters such as filling rate, steel ball diameter, and steel ball ratio on zinc calcine grinding were investigated in detail.Based on laboratory research results and production site conditions, industrial experiments were conducted.Under the optimized grinding system,The fineness of on-site grinding products has significantly increased from the original-0.18mm particle size ratio of 85%~95%and-0.074mm particle size ratio of 40%~60%to-0.18mm particle size ratio of 100%and-0.074mm particle size ratio of 80%,meeting the indicators required for engineering applications. The results can also provide reference for optimizing the technical indicators of zinc calcine dry grinding in other enterprises.
