Research and Application of Separation Technology of Ultrafine Residue in Prebaked Anode
Residual electrodes have long-term contact with electrolytes and contain high electrolyte components, such as aluminum, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, lithium, fluorine, etc. After crushing and screening, residual electrodes are divided into different particle sizes and added as aggregates in the production of anode carbon blocks or anode paste ingredients.Residual electrodes can be divided into two categories:hard residual electrodes and soft residual electrodes.Soft residual electrode refers to the anode with poor quality, which is caused by severe oxidation both externally and internally. It has low mechanical strength and is easily crushed into fine particles. The content of sodium, calcium, and iron elements in the fine residual electrode is extremely high, which has a significant impact on the quality of the anode and the original aluminum. It needs to be eliminated before reuse. This article focuses on the research and application of ultra-fine residual discharge technology, which fully meets the needs of electrolytic production after implementation.
