A Study on the Hydrocarbon Gas Composition of Metal Deposits for the Prediction of Hidden Orebodies--Taking the Jianzhupo Deposit as an Example
Hydrocarbon gas has the characteristics of fast diffusion speed, long migration distance, and large information carrying capacity, making it more advantageous than conventional geochemical exploration methods.Based on the collection and test analysis of soil samples from the Jianzhupo ore body and wall rock, and soil samples from two geochemical profiles in the south and north of the deposit periphery. The hydrocarbon gas composition characteristics of the ore body and wall rock are studied. It is believed that the genesis of Jianzhupo Ore genesis is related to magmatic rocks.Compare the normalization curve characteristics of soil hydrocarbon gas anomalies with different geological bodies and soil hydrocarbon gas background values, and screen for hydrocarbon gas anomalies closely related to mineralization hydrothermal fluids. It is believed that the hydrocarbon gas anomaly in the favorable exploration areas I,II and III on the north and south sides of the deposit is closely related to the magmatic hydrothermal solution. It is speculated that the metallogenic hydrothermal solution that forms the Sanpaidong,Shuiluo and Jianzhupo also has activities in this area, and there is an underlying ore body. There are 5 cm thick quartz veins containing Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite drilled in the favorable exploration area II.The hydrocarbon gas anomaly in the favorable exploration area IV is related to the metamorphic hydrothermal solution, and mercury ore points have been found,It is speculated that there are hidden ore bodies present.
