Exploration and prediction of Datu aluminum lithium polymetallic deposit in Qingzhen City,Guizhou Province
The Guizhou Qianzhong Bauxite Mine is formed by long-term weathering products transported to remote sedimentation. The main mineral is diaspore, with a grade generally between 60%and 70%.It is mainly used as a raw material for smelting aluminum and producing high-end abrasives. The characteristics of the ore body are mainly layered, layered, and lenticular, followed by sac-shaped,lenticular,and funnel-shaped ore bodies; The continuity of the ore body is good and the scale is large.Lithium ore is one of the main raw materials for new energy batteries in recent years. In the early stages, due to limitations in its use and dosage,it was not given enough attention in geological exploration, and industrial grade requirements were also relatively high. The comprehensive exploration and evaluation of coexisting lithium ore resources in bauxite was not thorough and meticulous enough, and the comprehensive evaluation of lithium ore resources was ignored.Through the investigation and evaluation of the occurrence characteristics of paragenetic lithium ore in Datu bauxite in Qingzhen City,Guizhou Province, the author found that the lithium ore(Li2O)grade of the aluminous clay rock samples in the aluminiferous rock series whose aluminum silicon ratio is between 1:1 and 1:1.5 is mostly higher than that of other samples. When comparing these samples back to geological engineering, they are mostly distributed in the upper part of the bauxite ore body(Al2O3>40%,aluminum silicon ratio>1.8),Occurred in dense blocky aluminum clay layers. In order to determine the relationship between the ore bearing strata and lithology, this article will conduct a preliminary exploration of the occurrence characteristics of its lithium deposits.
