Determination of Thallium in Zinc Electrolyte by Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry
A method for the determinationof Thallium content in zinc hydrometallurgy electrolyte by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry was established through experiments. The sample was diluted in dilute nitric acid medium,205Tl was used as the measuring isotope,He was used as collision gas and 185Re was used as internal standard to correct interference, and the thallium content was calculated by standard curve method. The detection limit of thallium content in zinc electrolyte is 0.2ng/L,the relative standard deviation is less than 5%,and the recovery rate of the method test is between 96%and 101.1%,which has good accuracy and precision.
