This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the risk assessment of tailings ponds and proposes targeted countermeasures.By combining traditional and modern monitoring technologies,and exploring the structural design,geological conditions,and operational management of tailings ponds,it is hoped that tailings ponds can improve safety performance while reducing the potential danger of dam failure,providing protection for environmental protection and personnel safety.
