Comparative Study on Methods for Determining the Lower Limit of Anomaly in Geochemical Exploration Data in Gutang Area,Jiangxi Province
In the process of soil geochemical anomaly resolution, determining the lower limit of anomalies is an important basis for evaluating geochemical anomalies.Currently, there are many methods to define the lower limit of anomalies. This article will use traditional mean standard method, cumulative frequency method, and multifractal method(C-N)to determine the lower limit of soil geochemical anomalies in the Gutang area of Jiangxi Province. The range of element anomalies determined by different methods will be compared, and the advantages and disadvantages of different models will be discussed.According to research results, the cumulative frequency method shows obvious concentration centers and zoning phenomena when delineating the range of anomaly maps, but it is prone to missing important information such as weak anomalies. In addition, the lower limit of anomalies determined by the content frequency method is slightly lower than that determined by the cumulative frequency method, resulting in an excessively large range of anomalies and increasing the difficulty of anomaly verification work. Therefore, defining the lower limit value of anomalies, matching different methods from the perspective of element data distribution, and starting from reducing the range of geochemical anomalies to improve the efficiency of mineral exploration.
