Application of comprehensive geophysical methods in a porphyry type copper deposit in Pakistan
Comprehensive geophysical methods generally refer to the use of multiple geophysical methods to obtain at least two different types of geophysical observation parameters, using parameter complementarity to reduce the influence of anomalous multiplicity,in order to obtain effective prospecting information as accurately as possible.Taking a certain porphyry copper deposit area in Pakistan as an example, using small-scale aeromagnetic and large-scale high-precision ground magnetic methods,as well as transient electromagnetic sounding and other geophysical methods, the ore-forming structures and the distribution of hidden igneous rocks were successfully extracted.Based on this, combined with geological and drilling data, the geophysical prospecting model in the region was summarized, providing a reference for the exploration and genesis research of porphyry copper deposits in the Chagai area of Balochistan Province,Pakistan.
