Geochemical characteristics and exploration direction of the Yuankeng Tungsten Tin polymetallic mining area in Huidong County,Guangdong Province
The Yuankeng tungsten tin polymetallic mining area is located in the northern part of the Zuokeng area,in the eastern part of the Wuyi metallogenic belt in Guangdong Province, sandwiched by the Zijin Boluo fault and the western belt of the Lianhuashan fault zone. This area is a magmatic hydrothermal filled metasomatic deposit controlled by fault structures. The ore body is located in the shallow tidal flat sandstone of the Lower Jurassic Qingkeng Formation near the contact zone with the rock mass and has been altered by fault structures. The northeast and northwest trending fault structures have important prospecting directions, such as silicification, ceratopsization, and chloritization.
