Quantitative assessment of the impact of geological structure in mining areas on the environment
With the acceleration of industrialization, the impact of mining activities on the environment is becoming increasingly significant, mainly manifested in multiple aspects such as water pollution, soil degradation, and reduced biodiversity. The geological structure of the mining area, including its rock types, stratigraphic composition, and fault distribution,is crucial in determining the environmental risks generated during the mining process.Accurately quantifying the impact of geological structures in mining areas on the environment is of great significance for formulating effective environmental protection and restoration strategies. At present, although there are various environmental impact assessment methods, these methods often lack in-depth consideration of the impact on specific geological structures in mining areas, resulting in inaccurate assessment results or difficulty in adapting to the specific situations of different mining areas. This study aims to optimize existing evaluation models and methods to more accurately quantify the impact of geological structures in mining areas on the environment, providing scientific basis for environmental management and policy-making.
