Research on estimation method and accuracy of mineral resources reserves
With the continuous development of the global economy,the demand for mineral resources is growing day by day,and the reserve estimation of mineral resources has become a key link to ensure sustainable supply.By summarizing the key role of mineral resource estimation in mining development and resource management,this paper introduces the common estimation methods such as geological block method and cross section method,their applicable conditions and advantages and disadvantages.The accuracy evaluation criteria and indicators of the estimation method are further discussed,the factors affecting the accuracy are analyzed,and the strategies to improve the accuracy are put forward.The limitations and challenges of traditional estimation methods are discussed,and the application of new methods based on new technologies,such as 3D geological modeling technology,in reserve estimation is explored.Through practical application cases,the important role of reserve estimation method in mineral resources exploration,mine planning and exploitation and mineral resources management is demonstrated.
