Mineral resources have a very important role in the national economic development,mineral resources exploration mainly geological prospecting method,geophysical prospecting method,geochemical prospecting method and so on,geochemical prospecting method is a young discipline,it is closely related to economic and technological development,but also the most direct,the most economical and the most effective prospecting method.This paper mainly describes the characteristics of geochemical prospecting methods,working methods and principles,as well as the application in the process of resource exploration and resource assessment,by listing the examples of ore deposits,more directly highlight the advantages of geochemical exploration methods.
