Experimental study on fine grinding of gold ore in a certain gold deposit in Qinghai Province
This article has gained the following understanding through experimental research on fine grinding of ore from a gold mine in Qinghai:it was found that the optimal grinding concentration in the experiment was 65%,and there seems to be a nonlinear relationship between grinding concentration and steel ball diameter. The optimal grinding concentration can be calculated based on the diameter of the steel ball;Grinding with a 20mm steel ball resulted in the highest yield of-200 mesh, reaching 58.56%;Once the ratio of steel balls has been determined, one size of steel ball can be added to the fine grinding process; The filling rate of steel balls in the ball mill was proposed, which is relatively good between 35%and 45%,with 40%being the best;Seven compounds including lime, sodium silicate, sodium hexametaphosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate, ammonium chloride, sodium chloride, and ferric chloride were used as grinding aids, but the grinding effect was not good. This study provides a reference for the experimental research of mineral processing in Qinghai gold mine.
