Underground mines have always been a focus of concern regarding safety issues as important mineral resources extraction sites.The safety issues in metal and non-metal mines involve rock stability,ventilation and water seepage,fire and explosion hazards,among other aspects,posing threats to the safety of workers'lives and properties.This article will analyze in-depth the safety hazards and their impacts in metal and non-metal mines,analyze relevant research achievements both domestically and internationally,and propose a series of effective safety measures.This aims to enhance people's awareness of safety issues in this industry and promote sustainable development in the mining sector.
