Experimental study on directional throwing blasting technology for gently inclined ultra-thin mineral veins
For the mining of gently inclined and extremely thin ore veins using the wall cutting and filling mining method, the most important backfilling process is the filling process, which directly affects the quality of backfilling and the production capacity of ore blocks. It is also difficult to meet the requirements of backfilling process solely by mechanical or manual filling of empty areas. The use of directional throwing blasting technology to throw the wall cutting surrounding rock into the goaf, fill the waste rock filling material in place through blasting force, and make the filling material tightly connected to the top, thus achieving the requirements of filling quality, reducing labor intensity of workers, and improving labor productivity,is one of the main technical keys to solve the mining of gently inclined and extremely thin mineral veins. The rock drilling and blasting process of the entire wall cutting and filling mining method revolves around directional throwing blasting technology to achieve the desired technical effect.
