Study on the stability of slope in a certain open-pit mine
The stability of open-pit mine slopes is directly related to the safety of the mine. This article analyzes the stability of a certain open-pit mine slope and preliminarily analyzes the possible failure modes of the slope by analyzing the relationship between structural planes and slope surfaces. The preliminary analysis of the failure mode was conducted using the limit equilibrium method, and the safety factors of each profile under various working conditions were calculated to meet the requirements of the"Technical Code for Non Coal Open pit Mine Slope Engineering"(GB 51016-2014);Using the two-dimensional elastic-plastic finite element numerical simulation analysis method, the slip mechanism and safety factor of each profile under various working conditions were analyzed, and the preliminary judgment of the overall failure mode of the slope was consistent with the calculation results. The slope safety factor calculated by the limit equilibrium analysis method and the two-dimensional elastic-plastic finite element numerical simulation analysis method was comprehensively analyzed to determine the stability of the mine slope. The overall stability of the slope provides a reference for the study of slope stability in open-pit mines and guarantees safe and efficient mining.
