Vertical design is an important component of overall design.Reasonable vertical design can save land,investment,accelerate construction progress,and facilitate later operation and management.Most mining enterprises build factories in mountainous areas,and due to the large elevation differences and undulations in the terrain,the overall design is of great importance,with vertical design being particularly important.This article elaborates on the key points and methods of vertical design from multiple perspectives,and takes the Xingluokeng tungsten mine in Fujian Province as an example to analyze the vertical design of the mine's overall plan,providing some ideas for engineering designers in future vertical design of mine plans.
