Geological characteristics and prospecting significance of gold deposits in Namqin Dongbula area,Xizang
The structural unit of the Namchin Dongbula area in Xizang belongs to the Gangdise Nianqing Tanggula plate Geji Cuoqin composite back arc basin. The structure is developed and the Cretaceous magmatic activity is very strong. At present, multiple rock gold and sand gold deposits(points)have been discovered. In the typical gold mining area,16 gold ore bodies have been found in Namqin,9 gold mineralized bodies have been found in Tiangongnile, and 7 gold ore bodies have been found in Budongla. The average grade of gold in the ore body is 3.32~103.01g/t,and the cumulative identified high-grade rock gold resources are more than 10 tons.Gold ore bodies are controlled by secondary fault fracture zones derived from regional faults and interlayer fracture zones of folds. The deposit belongs to the altered rock type gold deposit in the medium low temperature tectonic fracture zone, exhibiting characteristics of small and rich gold ore bodies, and has significant economic significance.
