The influence of impurity elements in copper strip billet on its properties and its control measures are discussed
Since the inclusion of trace impurity elements in copper is unavoidable,the impact of the elements with different characteristics like can be non-soluble,trace solid solution,a large amount of solid solution,infinite miscible in copper,solid solubility with the temperature drop and drastic reduction etc.to the copper vary widely.This report describes the influence of common impurity elements to the performance of copper strip billet when it is solidly dissolved in it.At the same time,the impact of trace impurity elements to the product performance can be reduced by targeted control measures,reducing the content of impurity elements in copper strip billet and optimizing the production process when trace impurity elements are solidly dissolved in copper strip billet during the production process,finally,the quality of the copper strip products can be improved.
