Research on the Impact of Improving the Steam Turbine Extraction System on Efficiency Based on Smelting Plants
In order to accelerate the construction of a clean,low-carbon,safe and efficient new energy system,and help achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality,the increase in national energy conservation and emission reduction efforts,and the efficient utilization of generator sets in waste incineration plants,is one of the important ways to improve energy utilization efficiency.This article is based on the modification of the steam extraction system of a steam turbine.After the modification,performance tests were conducted on the heat consumption and steam consumption of the steam turbine before and after the modification according to the steam turbine test procedures.The efficiency data before and after the modification were compared through actual measurements.Comparing and analyzing the measured efficiency of the steam turbine before and after,it was found that the efficiency of the steam turbine improved significantly.The study of surface steam turbine extraction system improvement cases can be widely applied to steam turbines in smelters,reducing steam and heat consumption and improving the power generation efficiency of smelter steam turbine units,which has important guiding significance.
