Analysis of Geological Characteristics and Exploration Direction of Shuidonggou Gold Deposit in Tianshui City
Through a systematic study of the reverse S-shaped structural belt in the Qilian North Qinling Caledonian orogenic belt,a Shuidonggou gold deposit was discovered in the area.The deposit mainly exists on the south side of this structural belt,and the gold mineralization in the area is clearly controlled by the fault(EW direction)structure in the area.Brown iron mineralization and pyrite mineralization,as well as sericite alteration,are the main rock alteration,and there are also silicification alteration.The minerals that simultaneously play a role in carrying gold are mainly limonite,pyrite,and arsenopyrite.The ore deposit is mainly controlled by the fault structure in the area,and the mineralization of gold is closely related to intermediate acidic intrusive rocks and metamorphic sandstones.In the process of mineral exploration,special attention should be paid to the structural alteration zone(EW direction)and geochemical anomaly areas.
