Analysis of Hot Spots and Trends in Ocean Carbon Sink Research Based on Bibliometrics
As the largest carbon pool, the study of ocean carbon sinks is of great significance for achieving the"double carbon"target, coping with climate change and developing ocean economy. In view of the fragmented research on ocean carbon sinks at home and abroad, this paper compares the research trend of ocean carbon sinks from the perspective of bibliometrics and uses knowledge mapping visualization to quantify and analyze the research progress of ocean carbon sinks on the basis of clarifying the scientific concepts related to ocean carbon sinks. The research results show that:(1)the overall volume of literature on ocean carbon sinks is on the rise, and the research in some fields is relatively in-depth;(2)There are few core authors in this research area, which leads to insufficient motivation to promote research in this area, and the cooperation and links among research institutions are weak and need to be further strengthened;(3)The current research hotspots of marine carbon sinks mainly focus on coastal ecological carbon sinks, carbon sink fisheries, carbon sink farming, carbon sink trading, etc.,and the research frontier shows a trend of thematic integration. At the same time, the development trend of marine carbon sink research is predicted from the direction of systematization, diversification and modernization of marine carbon sink research development,in order to provide reference for the research of related scholars.
