The Practice of Ideological and Political Education in Geological Skills Competition of National College Students
In recent years,various professional skill competitions are not only an important indicator to evaluate the comprehensive professional ability of teachers and students in colleges and universities,but also one of the important criteria for the evaluation of discipline construction,which are highly valued by colleges and universities.Taking the teachers and students of the School of Earth Sciences of Hebei GEO University participating in the National College Students'Geological Skill Competition as an example,this paper mainly introduces the students'ideological concerns in the face of the competition,and from the perspective of ideological and political education,constructs measures respectively from the three stages of competition primary selection,training and pre-competition,which cultivate students'enthusiasm for competition and enhance their awareness of"wanting to be the best",cultivate their competition skills and strengthen their awareness of"striving for the best",cultivate their competition status and reasonably"select the best".That provides ideological and political guarantee for the participating teachers and students to achieve good results in the Sixth National Geological Skills Competition for college students.
