Analysis of Structural Deformation Characteristics and Hydrocarbon Accumulation Potential in the Wuqing Depression
The Wuqing sag is located in the northeast margin of Jizhong depression, and its exploration degree is low.The recent breakthrough of buried hill in Sicundian area has aroused much attention.Based on the latest seismic data, this paper studies the structural deformation and geological evolution of the sag through seismic interpretation and structural analysis. The following conclusions are obtained:Wuqing Sag is an arc-shaped faulting depression with faulting in the western and northern part, and overlying in the eastern and southern part.It can be further divided into four sub-units:Damengzhuang trough,Daozun trough,Sunxiaozhuang trough and Yangcun slope. The Wuqing sag was controlled by Daxing fault and Baodi fault in the early stage, and belongs to the slope of Langgu-Wuqing"dustpan"depression.The present form of Wuqing depression was formed by the coupling deformation of Hexiwu fault and Baodi fault during the deposition of the Member 1,Shahejie Formation. The structural evolution of the Wuqing sag can be divided into three stages. The sedimentary period from Kongdian Formation to the second section of Shahejie Formation belongs to the slope of the whole faulting depression, while the sedimentary period from the first section of Shahejie Formation to Dongying Formation presents an arc shape controlled by two boundary faults, and enter a depression stage since the Neogene. The configuration of the buried hill source, reservoir, and cap within the concave slope is relatively good, making it the next exploration target area.
