Research on the Structure Model of Core Competency of Ideological and Political Teachers in Universities in the New Era
In recent years,the academia pays more and more attention to the competency of university teachers.However,most of the studies are limited to carrying out relevant research from the common characteristics of teachers,and the research on the core competency of university ideological and political teachers is relatively limited.The new era has put forward higher requirements and expectations for the ability and quality of ideological and political teachers,soit is particularly necessary to carry out a more in-depth study on the core competency index system of university ideological and political teachers.With the methods of literature,statistics and expert survey,this research analyzes the keycharacteristic indexes of the core competency of ideological and political teachers in universities,and explores the construction of a structure model of the core competency of ideological and political teachers in universities based on the three core competency dimensions:political ideal,professional skills,and moral cultivation.Among them,for ideological and political teachers in universities,the political ideal competency is the basis of the belief,the professional skills competency is the foundation of the career,and the moral cultivation competency is the source of the charm.This structure model provides useful reference and inspiration for the selection,training,performance evaluation and career development incentive of university ideological and political teachers.
