With the development of informatization,the digital economy has become a new engine for promoting economic growth.By constructing a comprehensive index evaluation system for digital economy and high-quality economic development,according to the data of 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2021,the degree of influence of digital economy on the high-quality development of regional economy and the impact of digital economy on the high-quality development of regional economy under the role of industrial structure upgrading is analyzed.The result shows that the digital economy has a dual impact on high-quality economic development:One is that the digital economy directly promotes high-quality economic development,and the other is that the digital economy indirectly promotes high-quality economic development through industrial structure upgrading.Based on regional heterogeneity,the degree to which China's digital economy promotes high-quality economic development weakens in order of eastern,central and western regions.
