Analysis on the Creation of"Home"in Suburban and Countryside Based on Representation and Non-representation Theory:Taking Sanhe Town of Anhui Province as an Example
From the perspective of human geography,"home"is a microscopic space for examining the relationship between human and the environment.The relationship is reexamined from a micro perspective.Based on representation and non-representation theory,the article analyses the process of creating and practicing"home"in suburban and countryside represented by Sanhe Town in Fuyang City,Anhui Province,and explores the obstacles to the creation of"home".The study finds that in representational creation,the township space presents different landscapes with architectural clusters;The government facilitates the daily lives of residents through infrastructure construction,public welfare promotion,and other means;In economic activities,residents participate in fairs to complete transactions and experience life;In non-representational creation,daily practices are based on the social interactions of marketplace residents and are sustained over time.Local identity can enrich the meaning of"home"and also dissolve the creation of"home".
