Promoting high-quality development through New Productive Forces(NPF)has quickly become a consensus and conscious action is because its appearance context captures the solution to the current development proposition.In the short term,developing NPF is a breakthrough point to cope with the downward pressure of the economy and cultivate new driving forces.In the medium term,it is an inherent requirement to adapt to and grasp the new normal of China's economic development.In the long term,it is a strategic support for building a socialist modernized strong country.As a pioneering and innovative category,NPF has brought another terminology revolution to Marxian Economics,and brought opportunities for the revival of productivity economics.Xi Jinping points out that the significant increase of total factor productivity is the core symbol of NPF,which indicates the direction for identifying and measuring new quality productivity.As a summary of the"new quality"attributes of contemporary advanced productivity,NPF includes important subsets such as digital productivity and ecological productivity.It points out the possibility and new path of embracing"leapfrog development of productivity"in the new era,systematizes and deepens the proposition that"technology is the primary productivity".To further deepen the research,it is necessary to adhere to Marxism and attempt to promote mutual reference between two research paradigm of Marxist productivuty theory and western economics.
