Analysis on the Spatial Scope and Circle Structure of Shijiazhuang Metropolitan Area
The metropolitan area is an important spatial unit for urban development,and the definition of spatial scope and circle structure has attracted widespread attention of the academic community.Shijiazhuang metropolitan area is an important component of the world-class urban agglomeration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,playing an important role in promoting the coordinated development of the region and the construction of new urbanization in Hebei Province.This article preliminarily explores the methods for defining the spatial scope and circle structure of Shijiazhuang metropolitan area.In the context of the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,an empirical analysis is conducted on the economic connections of cities within the Shijiazhuang metropolitan area.Qualitative and quantitative methods are used to verify and define the spatial scope and circle structure of Shijiazhuang metropolitan area.It is believed that the spatial scope of Shijiazhuang metropolitan area should cover the functional expansion area in the southern part of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development plan as much as possible.It basically conforms to the definition of the spatial scope of Shijiazhuang metropolitan area in the"14th Five Years Plan"of Hebei Province.In terms of circle structure,it is suitable to be divided into"one core and two circles",namely the core area,tight circle layer,and radiation circle layer.The radiation radius of the tight circle layer can be 70 km,and the radiation circle layer can extend to a spatial range of 200 km.
