The Influence of Social Adjustment of Primary School Students on Depression:Mediating Role of Humorous Language
In order to investigate the effect of children's humorous language on social adjustment and depression in primary school students,a random cluster sampling method is used to investigate 5 014 primary school students with Children's Humorous Language Questionnaire,Social Adaptation Questionnaire and the Patient Health Depression Questionnaire.The results show that there are no significant gender differences in the scores of affinity humor language,interpersonal harmony and depression,and no significant differences in the scores of self-demeaning humor language.There is no correlation between self-demeaning humorous language and life independence,and all the others are pin-wise correlated.Social adjustment can not only directly affect the depression level of primary school students,but also indirectly affect depression through children's humorous language.Children's humorous language plays a partial mediating role between social adjustment and depression of primary school students.
