Comprehensive Bearing Capacity of Regional Hub Cities in China:Measurement,Clustering and Evolution
To achieve high-quality economic development,it is necessary to improve the compre-hensive carrying capacity of hub cities and urban agglomerations and optimize the allocation of re-sources.Based on this, this paper constructed the evaluation model of the comprehensive carrying ca-pacity index of hub cities, measured the comprehensive carrying capacity of hub cities in China, and conducted systematic clustering and evolution analysis. The research results show that the compre-hensive carrying capacity of China's hub cities is insufficient on the whole.Although the comprehen-sive carrying capacity of China's hub cities has improved compared with the past, there is still a large space for development and optimization. At present, the comprehensive carrying capacity of central cities in China is mainly divided into five categories, showing a trend of"two super cities","six strong cities","multiple development"and"general insufficient carrying capacity".In addition to Shanghai and Beijing, the overall carrying capacity of regional hub cities in China still has much room for im-provement.At the same time, the imbalance of urban development between regions still exists.
