Disaster Prediction of Railway Subgrade Induced by Liquefiable Strata Under Earthquake
In order to predict the liquefaction possibility of the liquefiable strata below the railway subgrade under earthquake and the driving safety of the subgrade after earthquake,a three-dimensional numerical simulation model of the subgrade was established based on the industrial railway project from Tongling Port to Jiangbei Port in Anhui Province. The change law of the pore pressure ratio of liquefi-able strata and the deformation at the center of the top surface of the ballast bed under earthquake were studied, the influence of the seismic intensity and the buried depth of the liquefiable strata on the lique-faction possibility of the liquefiable strata were analyzed, and then the driving safety of the subgrade after earthquake was predicted. The study shows that when the buried depth of the liquefiable strata is less than 5 m and the seismic intensity is more than 6 degrees, the deformation of ballast bed will harm the driving safety of subgrade after earthquake; When the seismic intensity exceeds 7 degrees, the lique-fiable strata lose its shear strength completely, and the subgrade has the risk of complete instability.Anti-liquefaction treatment should be carried out on liquefiable soil with high liquefaction possibility during construction period.
