In the process of urban rail transit operation,in order to carry out effective management work, the operating enterprise needs to conduct a comprehensive analysis according to the formation of traffic passenger flow.On this basis,by understanding the needs of transportation and the choice of transportation modes, the important connection between transportation needs and transportation needs is proposed, and it is pointed out that there is a certain relationship between the choice of transportation mode and the payment ability of travelers,as well as the maximization of utility.Using the utility theory,a model of traffic sharing is established, and the competition mechanism formed by urban rail transit and other modes of transportation is analyzed. The research mainly analyzes the urban rail transit in Guangzhou, and has carried out a comprehensive study on the form and characteristics of the traffic passenger flow. The result of the research is that there is an important connection between the utilization of transportation resources and the passenger flow. With more passenger flow, resource can be fully utilized, while with less passenger flow, resources cannot be fully utilized. In order to effectively utilize resources and maximize the economic benefits of enterprises,it is necessary to use the utility theory to adjust ticket prices, departure time, etc.Different operation and management strategies should be used for different time periods and passenger flows,to effectively improves the efficiency of enterprise operation and management.
