The steel shell closure technology is used in the closing construction of the swivel continuous beam over the existing railway.It is not only convenient for construction and has low cost,but also the steel formwork can be used as a part of the structure without dismantling,which greatly improves the construction efficiency and reduces the construction risks.This article takes the construction of a rotating continuous beam across the existing Beijing Kowloon Railway(72+128+72)m on the newly built Konglong up connecting line of the Anjiu Railway as the background,and introduces the design,calculation and construction scheme of steel shell in the middle span closure section under the control conditions of large span,small curve radius,low headroom and limited construction skylight points.The smooth implementation of the scheme has a good reference significance for similar projects in the future.
