With the rapid development of the construction industry and increasingly fierce market competition,effective management of construction costs has become a key factor in enhancing the core competitiveness of construction enterprises.Traditional construction cost management methods have problems such as weak cost control awareness,ineffective full-process control,and low level of information management,which are unable to meet the complex and precise management needs of modem engineering projects.The introduction of Building Information Modeling(BIM)technology provides a new solution for construction cost management.This paper analyzes the problems existing in traditional construction cost management and discusses the advantages of BIM technology in construction cost management and its specific applications in the preparation,construction,and completion stages,with the aim of improving the efficiency and accuracy of construction cost management in building projects.
