Aiming at the engineering practice of a tunnel crossing the water-rich fracture zone,a three-dimensional model of the tunnel and the water-rich fracture zone was constructed by using abaqus software and numerical simulation method. The deformation behavior of the surrounding rock before and after grouting was simulated, including the settlement of the vault, the uplift of the arch bottom and the horizontal displacement of the arch waist. In order to verify the effectiveness of grouting on the deformation control of surrounding rock, the field monitoring data and numerical simulation results are compared. The results show that the grouting treatment significantly reduces the horizontal and vertical displacements of the surrounding rock, makes the deformation of the surrounding rock more moderate, and effectively improves the stability of the surrounding rock.
