Promoting Green Development and Rural Revitalization with Improved Bamboo Industry in Fujian Province
Fujian is a key province for bamboo production in China with abundant bamboo resources,providing a good foundation and condition for the bamboo industry development.The Fujian provincial government attaches great importance to the development of bamboo industry,and has released a range of policy measures to promote high-quality development of bamboo industry.Significant achievements have been made in the management of bamboo forests,the bamboo industry chain improvement,traditional industry transformation and upgrading,regional brands building,and the optimization of whole industry chain.However,the bamboo industry is also challenged by the problems in its development such as low competitiveness of certain bamboo products,inadequate structure of the industry,and insufficient guarantee for industrial development.This paper proposes suggestions and measures to promote the high-quality development of the bamboo industry in Fujian province,including improving the management mechanism,boosting the deep processing,optimizing the internal structure of the industry,increasing the quality and efficiency,and ensuring the development of the industry,in order to contribute to green development and rural revitalization.
