"One Village,One Product"Model for Bamboo Culture Industry Development in Cangyuan County,Yunnan Province:A Case Study of Nanban Village in Banhong Township
Cangyuan county in Yunnan province is the place of origin and main producing area of Dendrocalamus sinicus,boasting the intrinsic advantages to develop specialty bamboo culture industry.Building the"one village,one product"(OVOP)model for the development of specialty ethnic bamboo cultural industry in Cangyuan county conforms to the needs of local resource utilization and sustainable&innovative development,which is conducive to beautiful villages development and rural revitalization,and to the establishment and promotion of specialty cultural brands of ethnic minorities in the border areas.Thus it is of strategic significance to maintain the unity of ethnic minorities in the border areas,promote cultural exchanges among ethnic minority groups and tell"China's story"well to the world.Based on a large number of field investigations in Nanban village,Banhong township,Cangyuan county,this paper analyzes the opportunities and advantages arising in the development of bamboo industry in Cangyuan county,and proposes the content and path to build the"OVOP"model for the ethnic bamboo culture industry in Nanban village,with the aim to provide a reference for the in-depth development and utilization of ethnic minority bamboo culture in Yunnan province.It also fills the gap in the study of the"OVOP"model for ethnic minority bamboo culture industry.
