Effect of Potash Application on Growth and Leaf SPAD Value of Qiongzhuea tumidinoda Seedlings
Four potash fertilizer application treatments are set up for 1-year-old Qiongzhuea tumidinoda seedlings:75,150,225,and 300 kg/ha,with no fertilizer as the control(CK),to explore the effects of different potash fertilizer application treatment on the seedlings growth and the contents of chlorophyll and nitrogen in their leaves. The results find that:1)the application of potash could significantly promote the growth of ground diameter and height of Q.tumidinoda seedlings, and the ground diameter and the height of seedlings in all potash treatments are better than those in the CK.Among them, the potash application treatment of 150 kg/ha has the best effect, resulting in a 35.87%increase in ground diameter and 57.35%increase in height compared to the CK;and 2)With the increase of potash application amount, the SPAD value and the nitrogen content in leaves show a trend of first increasing and then decreasing, and reach their maximum value at 150 kg/ha.Considering the factors of ground diameter, height, leaf SPAD value and nitrogen content of Q.tumidinoda seedlings, the optimal potash application amount should be 150 kg/ha for Q.tumidinoda seedlings cultivation in the experimental area.
