Abstract
As a high-quality natural and renewable material,Qiongzhuea tumidinoda(Qiong bamboo)not only grows rapidly still with a tough texture,but also boasts unique charm and values in aesthetics.Research and development of Qiong bamboo furniture and household products in an innovative manner can reduce the use of plastic products in daily life,and conform to people's pursuit of an elegant and high-quality life.In order to promote the development and design innovation of Qiong bamboo furniture,this paper explores the design strategies of Qiong bamboo furniture,and analyzes its design characteristics and development potential through case studies,with a view to enhancing the market competitiveness of Qiong bamboo furniture,accelerating its application,and contributing to the"bamboo as a substitute for plastic"industry.
