Treatment of Psycho-cardiological Disease Based on the Theories of Shao Yang as the Pivot and Internal Stirring of Collateral Wind Damage to the Collateral and the Mind
Psycho-cardiological disease is a disease involving both physical and mental conditions,which occurs frequently and is easy to be neglected in clinical practice.In traditional Chinese medicine,heart and emotion belong to the same category of heart system,and they are physiologically dependent on each other.Shao yang,as the pivot,is closely re-lated to heart system disease.The pivot dysfunction leads to block of both exterior and interior,qi and blood congestion,and five-zang organ obstruction,thus damaging collateral vessel,inducing internal stirring of collateral wind and damaging heart collateral and the mind.Therefore,psycho-cardiological disease occurs.It can be seen that the theories of Shao yang as the pivot and internal stirring of collateral wind-damage to the collateral and the mind are interconnected.Combining the literature research and previous discussion of our team,the present paper,based on the pathological changes and clini-cal manifestations of psycho-cardiological disease,discussed the connection and commonality between the two theories from the perspectives of rationale,method,prescription and medicine.It analyzed the feasibility of treating psycho-cardio-logical disease with the two theories as guidelines,to provide a new idea for the improvement of the diagnosis and treatment of psycho-cardiological disease.
